Tired of the ever increasing cost of living and an income that can never keep up with it? For the last 32 years, Nicholas has been instrumental to many of his financial consultants in achieving extraordinary success in the financial services industry.

Motivated to achieve financial independence early in life, Nicholas made a decisive switch in his career after only 6 months of graduating from NTU with an accountancy degree and join AIA as a Financial Services Consultant in 1993. Having a desire to be in business for himself rather than working for someone, having neither capital, experience nor an idea what business to start, he discovered that the financial advisory business is a perfect place to start.

Nicholas became a member of the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) within 2 years of joining AIA and was ranked about the top financial advisors in the world. He then established TrueNorth Financial district in 1996 and became the No. 1 team in AIA in 2001 under the Financial Services Associate Director category. Through the visionary leadership of Nicholas, TrueNorth Financial district has been awarded the Pinnacle Agency Award by AIA for the last 20 consecutive years. With more than 50 Financial Services Consultants, TrueNorth Financial is currently ranked among the Top 5 districts in AIA Singapore.

Nicholas believes that given the right amount of training, mentoring, and coaching in an environment with a positive culture like TrueNorth Financial, you would be able to achieve extraordinary success in the financial services industry. That is the reason why developing financial consultants to achieve MDRT has been a mission of TrueNorth Financial. TrueNorth Financial has been awarded the distinguished MDRT District Award for the last 12 years for its outstanding efforts in the development of MDRT consultants. In 2021, TrueNorth Financial was also awarded the Top MDRT District award with the highest number of MDRT members. Today, TrueNorth Financial has almost 70% of it's consultants achieving the prestigious MDRT membership with Nicholas himself achieving Top of the Table (TOT) honor in 2025.
